Eni-Owned Eniverse Forms SunXT Perovskite Panel Venture With FuturaSun

MT Newswires Live12-19

Eni-owned (E) Eniverse will form SunXT with FuturaSun to develop perovskite silicon tandem solar panels, FuturaSun said Friday.

SunXT will use Solertix, a FuturaSun group startup focused on perovskite cells, as its center for tandem photovoltaic work in Italy, the company said.

The venture plans to develop four terminals that collect energy from both sides that pair a perovskite module with a conventional silicon module.

Its initial plan includes building a pilot line followed by industrial scaling to produce the four terminal panels for residential, commercial, and utility scale use, the company added.

FuturaSun will own 56.1% of SunXT while Eniverse will hold 43.9%, it said.
