The Energy Information Administration said late Thursday that it will delay until Dec. 29 the release of its Weekly Petroleum Status Report for the week ending Friday.

The report, which is typically released on Wednesday mornings, will be delayed because government agencies will be closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday.

Supply and demand data for this week will be released at 10:30 a.m. ET on Dec. 29, with supporting materials issued at 1 p.m. ET, the agency added.
