Carnival Corp Forecasts Annual Profit Above Estimates

Dec 19 (Reuters) - Cruise operator Carnival Corp CCL.N forecast its annual profit above estimates on Friday, banking on higher ticket prices and resilient demand from affluent consumers engaging in travel and recreational experiences.

Cruise stocks rally; Carnival jumped 8%; Norwegian Cruise up 5%; Royal Caribbean and Viking up 4%.

The company expects full-year adjusted earnings per share to be up to $2.48, compared with analysts' estimates of $2.43 per share according to data compiled by LSEG.
