Huntington Bancshares Core Momentum Strong; Veritex, Cadence Integrations on Track, RBC Says

Huntington Bancshares (HBAN) continues to show strong core momentum, with recent acquisitions expected to support growth and earnings over the medium term, RBC Capital Markets said in a note Friday.

RBC said "fundamentals remain positive heading into 2026" and management remains confident in the bank's ability to deliver peer-leading organic growth.

The firm said the Veritex and Cadence acquisitions are additive to outlook and provide a platform for growth in attractive geographies.

RBC maintained its 2025 and 2026 operating EPS estimates of $1.45 and $1.70, respectively, and raised its 2027 estimate to $1.95 from $1.90.

RBC reiterated its outperform rating on Huntington Bancshares and raised the price target to $20 from $19.
