Southern Cross Electrical Engineering's Units Win AU$90 Million Contracts

Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (ASX:SXE) said its subsidiaries won contracts worth AU$90 million in total, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The deals include the procurement of long-lead items and the completion of engineering at the Steel River East Battery Energy Storage system in New South Wales, set to start upon the receipt of State Significant Developmental approval, the filing said.

The company's subsidiaries also received design and construct contracts for three school projects in the Australian Capital Territory and contracts for the design, supply and installation of electrical works in Queensland, the filing added.
