Stratasys (SSYS) said Wednesday it has formed a partnership with software company Novineer to integrate polymer performance simulation product NoviPath with its GrabCAD Print Pro software.
Financial details were not provided.
The project will allow engineers to design lighter and stronger parts and will reduce the need for physical testing, Stratasys said, adding Novineer's technology will use GrabCAD data to simulate part behavior.
