ZURICH/GDANSK, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Thursday:

NOVARTIS NOVN.S, ROCHE ROG.S

Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday that the White House is set to announce drug pricing deals with Switzerland-based Novartis and Roche, further easing trade tensions with Switzerland after a standoff over tariffs.

COMPANY STATEMENTS

* Defender Capital reiterates intention to vote against Staar Surgical's STAA.O proposed sale to Alcon Inc ALCC.S.

ECONOMY

Swiss Nov trade balance due at 0700 GMT.

Swiss Nov money supply M3 due at 0800 GMT.
