China Nuclear Engineering (SHA:601611), through subsidiary China Nuclear Industry No. 24 Construction, signed a contract for a nuclear power plant project, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
The project will involve the construction of a nuclear island and the supporting balance of Unit 3, Phase I of the Jiangsu Xuwei Nuclear Energy Heating and Power Plant.
The Chinese construction services provider said it announced the signing following investors' concerns, but it has not yet disclosed the details of the project.
