The Great Eastern Shipping to Sell Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier

The Great Eastern Shipping Company (NSE:GESHIP, BOM:500620) has contracted to sell its Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier named "Jag Aarati" to an undisclosed buyer, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

Jag Aarati, which was built in 2011 with 80,324 dwt, will be delivered to the buyer by the fiscal fourth quarter of the financial year 2026.

The company earlier contracted to sell one Suezmax crude tanker by the fiscal third quarter of FY26, and has contracted to buy one secondhand Ultramax dry bulk carrier by the fiscal fourth quarter of FY26.
