U.S. Home Sales, New Listing Cooled in November -- Market Talk

1704 ET - Seasonal cooling hit the U.S. housing market in November, with an expected decline in new listings and home sales, RE/MAX Holdings said. During the month, homes took an additional week to sell and averaged 54 days on market, up from 47 days in November of last year. The supply of inventory was up in November, to 3.3 months, up from 2.9 months in the year-ago period. The median sales price in November was $438,000, up 1.7% year-over-year, but down 1.5% from October, according to RE/MAX. (stephen.nakrosis@wsj.com)
