Hong Kong Interbank Lending Rates Rise

Hong Kong's interbank lending rates rose Tuesday as the one-month mortgage-related rate increased 15 basis points to 3.12%, figures from the Hong Kong Association of Banks showed.

The three-month HIBOR similarly rose to around 3.09%.

Meanwhile, the overnight gauge was up 26 basis points to 1.99%; the one-week and two-week rate increased by more than 30 basis points to 2.36% and 2.64% respectively.
