Santos Joint Venture Repays AU$363 Million PNG Project Debt Facility Ahead of Due Date

Santos' (ASX:STO) joint venture repaid the AU$363 million debt facility for its Papua New Guinea liquefied natural gas project ahead of the June 2026 due date, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company has a 39.9% stake in the joint venture.

The associated loan security is in the process of being discharged and released, the filing said.

Santos now has no debt maturities due for 2026, and the next debt will mature in September 2027, the filing added.
