Huatai Securities' (SHA:601688, HKG:6886) sub-unit, Huatai International Finance, issued medium-term bonds totaling $105 million, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The bonds consisted of two tranches, which amounted to $55 million and $60 million, respectively.
Huatai International Financial Holdings, a subsidiary of the company, guaranteed the amount to Huatai International Financial for the bonds.
The bonds are part of Huatai International Finance's $3 billion medium-term bond program launched in 2020.
The Chinese securities company's Hong Kong shares fell less than 2%, while the Shanghai shares rose over 1% during the afternoon trade.
