And ST HD (TYO:2685) will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia, named Adastria (Malaysia), as part of its medium-term growth strategy focused on Southeast Asia, according to its bourse filing on Wednesday.
The company aims to introduce its main brand, niko and ..., into the high-income Malaysian market to build a regional business foundation and eventually expand into surrounding countries.
The subsidiary, with a capital of 10 million Ringgit or approximately 377 million yen, is scheduled to begin operations in early January 2026 under the leadership of director Kazushi Sekimori.
