Stocks to Watch Wednesday: Lennar, Paramount, Netflix -- WSJ

Lennar $(LEN)$: The homebuilder reported lower-than-expected earnings as the housing market remains stagnant. Shares fell nearly 4% in premarket trading.

E.W. Scripps $(SSP)$: The media company rejected an unsolicited, $7-a-share acquisition bid from Sinclair $(SBGI)$. Sinclair shares fell 1.5% in offhours trading.

Warner Bros. Discovery $(WBD)$: The conglomerate plans to tell shareholders to reject Paramount $(PSKY)$'s latest offer and recommend they support its deal with Netflix $(NFLX)$. Warner shares fell premarket, while Netflix rallied.

Tesla $(TSLA)$: Californian regulators gave the EV maker 90 days to change its advertising after a judge found it deceived consumers by implying its cars could drive on their own. On Tuesday, shares had closed at a record high, pushing Tesla's market capitalization above $1.6 trillion.
