Production at China's Largest Oilfield Reaches 40 Million Tons of Oil Equivalent in 2025

China National Offshore Oil Corp.'s Bohai Oilfield saw an output of 40 million tonnes of oil equivalent so far in 2025, Xinhua News Agency reported Sunday.

Cumulative crude oil production at China's largest offshore oilfield topped 600 million tonnes, the report said.

Oil and gas production has grown 5% annually over the last five years, according to Xinhua, citing the oil company.

China National Offshore Oil Corp. is the parent of CNOOC (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) and China Oilfield Services (HKG:2883, SHA:601808).
