India regulator says Air India 777 jet returns after drop in engine oil pressure

BENGALURU, Dec 22 - India's aviation regulator said on Monday an Air India Boeing BA.N 777 aircraft had to return after take-off after the oil pressure dropped to zero in one of the jet's engines.

The crew shutdown the engine and the aircraft landed safely in Delhi, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a statement.
