Parsons Shares Rise on $151B Defense Department Contract

Shares of Parsons rose after the company disclosed the awarding of a contract worth up to $151 billion from the Defense Department.
The stock rose 5.3% to $65.45 in post-market trading. Shares ended the market session up 1.3% after closing at $62.17, and are now down 33% this year.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is from the Missile Defense Agency for its Scalable Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense project.
