carriers.\nAnji's new ocean-going car carrier, Anji Fortune, was delivered on December 22 at Jiangnan Shipyard's Changxing base, the company announced yesterday.\nThis marks the sixth 9,500-car Fortune commenced operations immediately upon delivery, the company said.\nTo date, Anji's self-operated roll-on/roll-off fleet has grown to 41 vessels, serving routes across Europe, Mexico, the Persian Gulf, and Australia/New Zealand.\nBy 2026, Anji's self-operated ocean-going annual transport capacity will reach 600,000 vehicles, the company said.\n\nSAIC sold 4.11 million vehicles from January to November, marking a 16.38 percent year-on-year increase, according to data released earlier this month.\nThe company's exports and overseas base sales totaled 937,493 units during the same period, up 3.40 percent year-on-year.\nAnji serves as a key pillar in SAIC's overseas expansion, ensuring the stability, efficiency, and resilience of the group's global supply chain, the automaker said in a release today.\nFollowing the commencement of operations for Anji Fortune, the maritime network connecting China to Europe, the Mediterranean, and global markets will be further strengthened, SAIC noted.\nBeyond SAIC, BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) has also expanded its ocean shipping capacity this year.\nIn late September, BYD Jinan, the company's eighth car carrier, was
