Barclays (BCS) and NatWest Group (NWG) have moved into the second round of an auction for UK wealth manager Evelyn Partners, Sky News reported late Tuesday.
Royal Bank of Canada (RY) is also among the potential bidders, while several private equity firms have submitted offers for Evelyn, according to the report.
Although Lloyds Banking Group (LYG) was also understood to have explored an offer for Evelyn, it was not clear as of Tuesday whether it was still interested, the news outlet reported.
Barclays, NatWest, Evelyn, Royal Bank of Canada, and Lloyds Banking didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
