BUZZ-Copper miners rise tracking price of red metal

** U.S.-listed shares of copper miners rise premarket, tracking higher prices of the red metal

** Benchmark copper CMCU3 on the London Metal Exchange up 0.7% at $11,970 a metric ton, after setting record at $11,996 earlier the session

** Copper prices rise after Chilean miner Antofagasta ANTO.L and a Chinese smelter agree on a zero processing fee for 2026 copper concentrate MET/

** Global mining giants Rio Tinto RIO.N climbs 1.3% and BHP Group BHP.N up 1.5%

** Southern Copper SCCO.N up 2% and Freeport-McMoRan FCX.N rises 1.8%

** Canada's Hudbay Minerals HBM.TO, HBM.N gains 2.2%, Teck Resources TECKb.TO, TECK.N up 2.1% and Ero Copper ERO.TO, ERO.N gains ~3%
