STMicroelectronics (STM) has signed an agreement with Oversonic Robotics to receive custom RoBee cognitive humanoid robots at several semiconductor plants globally, the Italian company said Monday.
The first humanoid has been deployed in STMicroelectronics' advanced packaging and test fab in Malta, Oversonic said.
Oversonic Robotics will also work with STMicroelectronics to showcase the RoBee humanoid robot and demonstrate its applications for advanced production and manufacturing at the CES convention.
