PG&E Says Power Restored for Most Customers After San Francisco Outage

PG&E (PCG) said Sunday it restored electricity for about 114,000 customers, including 4,000 on Sunday, following a major power outage that struck parts of San Francisco on Saturday.

The utility said it expected to restore service to the remaining affected customers no later than 2 pm Monday.

"At 1:09 pm Saturday, Dec. 20, we began to experience a significant outage in San Francisco that reached its peak two hours later with approximately 130,000 customers affected," the company said in an update posted on its website.
