Baidu (BIDU) is launching its Apollo Go autonomous taxi service in London in separate collaborations with Uber (UBER) and Lyft (LYFT), the companies said Monday.

In separate posts on social media platform X, Uber and Baidu said they will launch testing in H1 2026. Uber said it plans to begin trials for self-driving vehicles under the UK's frontier plan.

Meanwhile, Lyft said it expects to begin testing Baidu's Apollo Go service through its Freenow platform, with dozens of vehicles next year. The company also said it is working closely with Transport for London regulators for regulatory approvals.
