MT Newswires Live07:57

GrainCorp's (ASX:GNC) shares fell nearly 1% in early trading on Tuesday after the firm said in a statement on Monday that it had received a total of 8.9 million tonnes of grain at its up-country sites in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria as of Monday, excluding winter crop receivals before Oct. 1 and direct-to-port receivals.

The company received 43,200 tonnes at its New South Wales sites and 460,400 tonnes at its Victoria sites since its last report on Dec. 15.

Harvest received winter crops from growers in New South Wales. However, recent weeks have been affected by challenging weather conditions. Receivals have continued where possible, with deliveries in some areas expected to continue through the Christmas break, per the statement.

The company recorded strong receivals across Central Victoria, the Southern Mallee, and the Wimmera regions. Harvest activity is expected to extend into January 2026 in Victoria.
