HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (KRX:329180) signed an agreement with Peru's Navy and the country's state-owned shipbuilding firm Sima on Friday to build the latest technology-equipped submarines.
The financial aspects of the deal were undisclosed. The shipbuilding is expected to begin in January 2026 and will run over 11 months, Reuters reported, citing an emailed statement.
