China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage's Pumped-Storage Units Enter Trial Operation

China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage (SHA:600995) said Units 1 and 2 of its Nanning pumped-storage power station have entered performance assessment trial operation.

The facility has a total installed capacity of 1.2 gigawatts, with Units 3 and 4 expected to begin trial operation before the end of the year, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Once the assessment phase is completed, all units will move into full commercial operation.
