European Markets Open Mostly Higher; Novo Nordisk Leaps -- Market Talk

0827 GMT - European markets opened mostly higher on the last full trading day before the Christmas break. Germany's DAX was up 0.2%, boosted by energy stocks, while France's CAC was down 0.03% having logged its biggest one-day decline since Dec. 9 on Monday. London's FTSE 100 index was up 0.1%, while the Stoxx Europe 600 was 0.3% higher, led by Novo Nordisk--up 5.5%--after the Danish drugmaker received FDA approval for its pill version of weight-loss drug Wegovy.
