Wanrun New Energy Technology to Cut Lithium Iron Phosphate Output in Factories' Maintenance Works; Shares Soar 6%

Hubei Wanrun New Energy Technology (SHA:688275) plans to reduce production as part of its maintenance on certain production lines, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.

The maintenance will trim the Chinese battery material supplier's lithium iron phosphate output by 5,000 tons to 20,000 tons.

The company's shares jumped over 6% during the afternoon trade.
