China Shenhua Energy (SHA:601088, HKG:1088) has commissioned the fourth unit at its Beihai phase two power plant expansion.
Unit Four, a 1,000-megawatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired generator, completed its mandatory 168-hour trial run and is now in commercial operation, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares of the energy company rose 1% in recent trade.
