Metaplanet (TYO:3350) said it purchased an additional 4,279 bitcoin during the quarter, lifting total holdings to 35,102 bitcoin as part of its ongoing bitcoin treasury operations, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The latest purchase cost about 69.9 billion yen at an average price of roughly 16.3 million yen per bitcoin, taking the aggregate cost of holdings to about 559.7 billion yen.
