1052 ET - The hype cycle around "Grand Theft Auto VI" is likely among the most significant in entertainment history, Benchmark analyst Mike Hickey says in a research note. The last games in the series, "GTA V" and "GTA Online," continue to demonstrate exceptional durability, with sustained engagement and monetization more than a decade post-launch, he writes. Meanwhile, "GTA Online 2," though not yet formally announced, has the potential to materially expand recurrent consumer spending and drive a structurally higher long-term earnings profile for Take-Two Interactive Software. Outside of the company's most-hyped franchise, fundamentals remain strong, supporting Hickey's bullishness on the stock. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
