Country Garden (HKG:2007) said its offshore debt restructuring has become effective on Dec. 30, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.
A filing in November outlined the restructuring plan, which included issuing mandatory convertible bonds, new shares to settle work fees and restructuring support fees, converting shareholder loans into equity, and disposing of certain subsidiary interests.
