SMX (SMX) said Wednesday it has expanded its industrial rubber traceability platform into latex and rubber gloves.
The plan is part of SMX's strategy to apply its rubber-integrity platform to circular-material challenges to adopt authentication, traceability, and lifecycle accountability, the company said.
SMX also intends to start work with glove manufacturers and compounders in Q1, it said, adding that it will also commence traceable glove-material pilot programs.
Shares of the company were down 17% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
