BUZZ-Space stocks surge on growing commercialization, investments

** Space stocks Rocket Lab RKLB.O, Planet Labs PL.N, AST SpaceMobile ASTS.O and Globalstar GSAT.O jump between ~97% and ~389% this year

** Rocket Lab was the world's second most frequent private rocket launch provider in 2025, trailing only Elon Musk's SpaceX

** Planet Labs tied up with Alphabet's Google GOOGL.O to develop AI data center satellites to operate in orbit

** AST SpaceMobile confirmed plans to launch 45 to 60 additional satellites by the end of 2026 to establish continuous commercial coverage for partners like AT&T T.N and Verizon VZ.N

** SpaceX is expected to go public in 2026, raising more than $25 billion, potentially making it one of the biggest public listings globally
