JD Cables (BOM:544524) said it has received a work order worth 88.1 million Indian rupees, excluding GST, from undisclosed EPC contractors, according to an Indian bourse filing by the company.
The order is for the supply of power and control cables across Bihar and Jharkhand in India, the filing said.
It covers manufacturing, testing, supplying, and delivering aerial bunched XLPE cables, LT XLPE AB cables, and control cables, about 831 kilometres long, according to the filing.
Shares of the company rose nearly 1% in Monday's trade.
