China AI chipmaker Biren set to surge 82% on Hong Kong debut

SINGAPORE, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Shares of Chinese AI chip designer Shanghai Biren Technology 6082.HK are set to open 82.1% higher at their Hong Kong debut on Friday, kicking off the city's first listing of 2026.

Biren shares are set to open at HK$35.7 each, above its offer price of HK$19.60.
