France new car registrations down 5.02% in 2025, industry body says

Jan 1 (Reuters) - New car registrations in France declined 5.84% in December from a year earlier to 172,927 vehicles, data from French car body PFA showed on Thursday, and new car registrations for all of 2025 shrank 5.02%.

Tesla TSLA.O sales in the country slumped 66.04% last month to 1,942 vehicles. The company's sales dipped 37.46% in 2025.
