Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) is rolling out an artificial intelligence-powered service meant to enable restaurants to showcase interiors, Bloomberg News reported Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Amap, the Chinese e-commerce giant's maps and local services division, will allow restaurants to render 3D images soon by just uploading photos or videos, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.
Alibaba intends to offer the technology to select businesses for free for a certain time period, Bloomberg reported, citing the sources.
The company didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
