Shell (SHEL) has been awarded a tender by Petrovietnam Gas to deliver liquefied natural gas to Vietnam from 2027 to 2031, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing a statement from the state-owned company.

Under the five-year deal, Shell will supply about 400,000 metric tons a year of LNG on a delivered ex-ship basis to Petrovietnam Gas' Thi Vai terminal, the report said.
