Singapore shares surged on Monday, tracking regional gains, as the city-state's total retail sales increased 6.3% year on year in November 2025, according to data released by the Department of Statistics Singapore.
The Straits Times Index (STI), a key benchmark for the Singapore Exchange, ranged between 4,668.69 and 4,690.48 throughout the day. It ended the session at 4,680.50, up 24.38 points or 0.5% compared to Friday's close.
In corporate news, shares of TOTM Technologies (SGX:42F) surged nearly 22% at the close as it secured renewed and new contracts in Indonesia worth over SG$6.1 million.
PropNex (SGX:OYY) shares were up over 4% as a claimant discontinued and withdrew a lawsuit against its subsidiary, PropNex Realty.
Meanwhile, Ascent Bridge (SGX:AWG) agreed to extend the loan repayment date to Capital Impetus by a further six months.
