** CNOOC 600938.SS shares slump 3% in Shanghai and tumble over 4% in Hong Kong 0883.HK

** The Hang Seng Energy Index .HSCIE falls roughly 3%, on track for its worst day in nine months

** Benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI up 0.3%

** In China, the CSI 300 Energy Index .CSI000908 down about 1%, while the benchmark CSI300 Index .CSI300 up more than 1%

** Maduro is in a New York detention centre awaiting a Monday court appearance on drug charges

** U.S. President Donald Trump ordered his seizure from Venezuela on Saturday and said the U.S. would take control of the country
