Bank of Maharashtra (NSE:MAHABANK, BOM:532525) booked a 17% year-on-year rise in total business to 5.952 trillion Indian rupees in the quarter ended Dec. 31, from 5.077 trillion rupees a year earlier, according to a Monday filing.
Global advances grew 20% year on year to 2.735 trillion rupees, while total deposits were up 15% to 3.217 trillion rupees, the filing said.
Shares of the bank rose over 1% in recent trade.
