Sinomine Resource's Subsidiary Puts Upgraded Lithium Salt Plant in Trial Operation

Sinomine Resource Group's (SHE:002738) subsidiary, Zhongkuang Lithium Industry, commenced the trial operation of the upgraded lithium salt production line on Jan. 2, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Monday.

The production line in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, China was upgraded for 120.7 million yuan.

Under the upgrade, the production capacity of lithium salts in the plant will increase to 30,000 tons per year from 25,000 tons per year.

The Chinese mining company's shares rose over 2% during the morning trade.
