Toyota Motor (TM) has asked its Venezuela staff to work remotely as the automaker evaluates the situation after President Nicolas Maduro's arrest by US forces over the weekend, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing a company spokesperson.
The directive is not expected to impact the company's sales and production, the spokesperson told the news outlet.
Toyota didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
