0220 GMT - UOB Kay Hian analysts reckon that positive sentiment about Thailand's coming elections next month could support the share price of domestic banks in 1H. The market hopes to have a stable government to govern the country as well as disburse its budget continuously and seamlessly to support the economy, they say. The banking sector is expected to perform well compared with the market after the election, they add. UOB KH maintains a market weight on Thailand's banking sector, and pegs Krung Thai Bank as its top pick.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
