Texas Instruments Expands Portfolio for Autonomous Vehicles

Texas Instruments (TXN) said Monday it is introducing new automotive semiconductors and development tools aimed at boosting safety and autonomy across vehicle models.

The rollout includes the TDA5 system-on-a-chip family for processing and edge artificial intelligence and the AWR2188 single-chip, eight-by-eight 4D imaging radar transceiver, to help engineers simplify high resolution radar systems, it said.

The company said it is debuting the products this week at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shares were up more than 2% in recent trading.
