Chevron, Quantum Capital Group Plan Swoop for $22 Billion of Lukoil Assets, FT Says, Citing Sources

--Chevron and private-equity firm Quantum Capital Group are planning a bid to buy the international assets of Russia's Lukoil, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.
--The offer price couldn't be determined but Chevron and Quantum plan to divvy up the assets--valued at $22 billion by Lukoil --between them, according to the FT.
--Chevron said it doesn't comment on commercial matters, while Quantum declined to comment.
