Kura Sushi Navigating Tariff Costs -- Market Talk

1737 ET - Kura Sushi is continuing to deal with higher costs as a result of tariffs on imports, including on toys and other novelty items the restaurant chain imports from China. The company said in a 1Q earnings call that it has worked with vendors to absorb some of the cost increases, and the chain increased prices in November to help offset some of the costs. The chain's 1Q traffic fell, but executives said that business has improved since. (heather.haddon@wsj.com; @heatherhaddon)
