Evergy to Partially Repurchase 4.50% Convertible Notes Due 2027

Evergy (EVRG) said Wednesday it has signed agreements with certain holders of its 4.50% convertible notes due 2027 to repurchase roughly $244.1 million of the notes for about $302.5 million in cash.

After the repurchases, about $1.16 billion of the notes will remain outstanding, the company said.

Evergy shares were up 1.7% in premarket activity.
